Who we are
StartKalshi.com is an independent affiliate website. It is not operated by Kalshi Inc. Contact: /contact/.
What we collect
You can read every page without creating an account. The fee, profit, odds, Kelly, and EV calculators run in your browser. Inputs are not sent to our servers.
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like most hosts, Netlify may log technical data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps) to operate the CDN, stop abuse, and debug outages. We do not sell that log data.
Google Analytics
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js, measurement ID G-PX6L55HYWP). Google may record the page URL, referrer, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP, and first-party cookies that distinguish browsers (typically _ga and _ga_*). We use this to see which guides are read. We do not use it to log you into an account. Google's processing is described in Google's privacy policy.
Cookies and outbound clicks
This site does not set an account cookie. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on startkalshi.com as described above. If you follow an affiliate link to kalshi.com, Kalshi and its partners may set their own cookies to attribute a signup. That processing is under Kalshi's privacy policy, not ours.
What we do not collect
- Government ID, SSN, or bank account numbers — those stay on Kalshi's KYC flow.
- A mailing list, unless you email us first.
- Precise location beyond what a normal HTTPS request includes.
Emails you send us
If you write hello@startkalshi.com, we keep the message long enough to answer or correct a page. Do not send identity documents or account passwords.
Retention and processors
Hosting and DNS run on Netlify and the usual TLS/CDN stack. Page analytics run through Google Analytics 4. We do not sell that data.
Your requests
Because we do not operate user accounts, there is usually nothing to export or delete beyond an email you sent. For a deletion request on that correspondence, use the contact page.
Children
The site is written for adults. Prediction-market accounts require you to be 18+ on Kalshi. Do not send information about a child.
