Is Kalshi available where you live?
140+ countries can apply. Eligibility still depends on the Member Agreement — never use a VPN to bypass a block.
Kalshi started as a US-only CFTC exchange. More than 140 countries can now apply for the same USD order books. A shorter list is still blocked: the UK, Canada, Australia, China, Singapore, and sanctioned jurisdictions among them. The split is the passport, not the app.
If your country is marked open, you still pass KYC. Never use a VPN to look like a resident of an open country. Kalshi freezes those accounts. Signup is email, Google, or Apple, then a legal name, date of birth, a real residential address, and a government ID — plus the last four of a Social Security number for US persons. Idle USD can earn around 3.5–4% APY. Taker fees use the formula on the fee guide; we do not paste that equation onto every country flag.
Think of this hub as a map, not a visa. Restricted means do not apply from that residential address. We will not publish bypass instructions.
Each open-country page names the domestic rails Kalshi does not accept (Pix, UPI, iDEAL, Bizum, Swish, SPEI, GCash, and the rest), how residents usually reach USD, the home regulator’s official site, the timezone against U.S. settlement, and a tax note that refuses to pick a rate. Kalshi remains a US CFTC designated contract market — not a local betting licence. How-to-signup steps live in the guides.
If you do not yet care which venue — only what an event contract is — start with What prediction markets are. If you already want a CFTC book and your country is open, the signup guide is next. Search below filters this list; it does not change Kalshi's rules.

Event-contract restrictions follow the Kalshi Member Agreement dated 17 June 2026. Confirm the live list on kalshi.com before you apply. A VPN from a restricted address can freeze the account.
