Australia cannot open Kalshi from home
A residential address in any Australian state or territory is enough to fail Kalshi KYC. The product is a US DCM, not an Australian financial product and not a licensed wagering account.
ASIC licenses Australian financial services. State bodies license wagering. Kalshi holds neither an AFSL for this product nor a state bookmaker permit.
Official site- PayID / OSKO

Not an AFSL product and not a TAB ticket
Australians already have a thick local stack for securities and for sports wagering. Kalshi sits in neither stack. The Member Agreement is why a Sydney or Melbourne address dies at signup, not because PayID was missing from a form.
PayID and OSKO stay in the NPP
Those rails clear Australian dollars between domestic accounts. Kalshi does not collect a PayID for a blocked customer. A text asking you to PayID «Kalshi AU support» is a scam.
The clock you will not need from this postcode
Sydney is 15 hours ahead of EST in winter (16 vs EDT, and AEDT shifts again). NFL Sunday in the US is Monday lunch around Circular Quay. That trivia belongs to open-country pages. This one is a stop.
Do not look American from Bondi
A VPN to finish KYC is a terms breach. If the public list ever adds Australia, the live site will show it first. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.
Identity checks still run on kalshi.com. If that signup or deposit screen disagrees with this note, trust Kalshi. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.
