Russia is closed on Kalshi

A residential address in the Russian Federation will not pass Kalshi KYC. This is not a missing СБП integration. Sanctions rules and the exchange’s own agreement both refuse the customer.

Funding Kalshi lists: Not onboarded
Home supervisor — not Kalshi’s licence
Bank of Russia

The Bank of Russia licenses domestic banks and some payment systems. It has not licensed Kalshi. US sanctions policy is a separate, binding overlay.

Local rails — not a Kalshi checkout

Sanctions plus the Member Agreement

Either file would be enough. Together they are not a puzzle. Gosuslugi, Sber ID and a Russian internal passport do not become Kalshi logins. The English contract is the one that says no. A Russian-language StartKalshi guide is for people already legally resident in an open country — not a Moscow propiska.

SBP, Mir and QIWI never get a beneficiary

Those rails move rubles inside the Russian payment circuit. They do not credit a US DCM. A Telegram bot asking for a «перевод на Kalshi» to a Mir card is theft. We will not describe a grey dollar corridor.

Belarus is the neighbouring closed door

A Minsk address is restricted too. Kazakhstan is not on our country table — we will not invent its colour. Readers who already live in Germany, Israel, Turkey or the US should use those pages.

An American IP from a Russian lease is a freeze

No VPN chapter. No «convenient citizenship» list. If Kalshi ever opens Russia, kalshi.com will say so first. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.

Identity checks still run on kalshi.com. If that signup or deposit screen disagrees with this note, trust Kalshi. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.
