Is Kalshi available in Spain?
Yes. Residents of Spain can apply. Settlement is EUR converted into USD; Bizum is not a Kalshi checkout.
CNMV supervises Spanish securities firms. The DGOJ licenses gambling. Kalshi holds neither a CNMV MiFID licence nor a DGOJ betting licence.

Opening from Spain
DNI or NIE plus a Spanish address usually clears documents. Bizum linking is not requested because Bizum cannot fund the account. No cuenta de valores is opened at a Spanish sociedad de valores.
What Spain pays with at home
Bizum is instant and ubiquitous in Spain — and useless on Kalshi. SEPA and domestic transfers likewise never arrive. Spaniards convert EUR to USD, then wire or card-fund or use ZeroHash. A site that asks you to Bizum a private mobile number “para Kalshi” is a theft script.
From EUR in Spain to USD
EUR/USD at Spanish high-street banks (Caixa, Santander, BBVA) often hides the spread in the comercial rate. For more than a test deposit, a dedicated FX payment usually beats the office window. Kalshi will not debit a euro IBAN.
Hours in Spain (Europe/Madrid (CET/CEST))
Peninsular Spain is CET/CEST. Canary Islands are one hour behind — if you live in Las Palmas, subtract an hour from the Madrid examples. A 2 p.m. Eastern decision is 20:00 in Madrid in winter.
Tax from Spain — we will not pick a rate
IRPF and the Modelo 720 foreign-asset filing are the two Spanish conversations that come up. There is no Agencia Tributaria circular that prices Kalshi contracts. Do not reuse the withholding a Spanish bookmaker prints on a betting slip. An asesor fiscal who files 720s should read the USD statement.
