Switzerland cannot trade Kalshi event contracts
A Swiss residential address sits on Kalshi’s Restricted Jurisdictions list for Event Contracts as of the Member Agreement dated 17 June 2026. TWINT and a FINMA login are not a workaround. Membership or non-trading access may still exist — we will not invent the KYC screen. The dollar event ticket this site describes is the product the agreement bars.
FINMA supervises Swiss banks and securities firms. Kalshi is not a FINMA-licensed remote exchange or a Swiss lottery operator. The Event-Contract bar is Kalshi’s Member Agreement, not a FINMA exemption we can fill in.

DACH is no longer one colour
Germany and Austria remain on the open side of the list we track. Switzerland does not. A Zurich or Geneva postcode is not a Berlin postcode. French-language pages that still mention an open Suisse are wrong if they predate this agreement; this page is the stop sign.
TWINT pays the bakery, not the DCM
TWINT, SIC francs, and a Swiss debit stay local. They never funded Kalshi even on older open-list snapshots. They certainly do not open an Event Contract from a restricted domicile. A TWINT request labelled «Kalshi» from a private mobile is fraud.
Cantonal tax is not a licence
Swiss tax is cantonal plus federal. We will not publish a Satz or treat a blocked ticket like Swisslos. A Treuhänder can classify foreign accounts; they cannot rewrite the Member Agreement.
What we will not publish
No VPN, no «open from Konstanz and withdraw in Zürich» script, no substitute venue. Trust kalshi.com over this snapshot. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.
Identity checks still run on kalshi.com. If that signup or deposit screen disagrees with this note, trust Kalshi. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.
