A Saudi ID (Absher-linked) or iqama plus a KSA address can satisfy KYC when the exchange accepts the documents. You are still a foreign DCM customer. No Tadawul portfolio is opened.

What Saudi Arabia pays with at home

mada, SARIE, and STC Pay do not deposit to Kalshi. Riyals usually become dollars at a SAMA-supervised bank FX desk, then leave as a USD wire or via a card/crypto rail the exchange lists. A stranger’s STC Pay request branded as Kalshi is fraud.

From SAR in Saudi Arabia to USD

SAR is pegged to the dollar, so the conversion looks small — banks still charge a ticket fee. Confirm the bank will process an outgoing USD payment to a U.S. exchange. Kalshi never holds riyals.

Hours in Saudi Arabia (Asia/Riyadh (AST))

Riyadh is UTC+3 year-round (no DST). A 2 p.m. Eastern decision is 21:00 AST in winter and 22:00 when the U.S. is on EDT. Weekend structure (Fri–Sat) means Saturday NFL overlaps a local weekend; Monday U.S. macro hits a Saudi workday.

Tax from Saudi Arabia — we will not pick a rate

Saudi personal income-tax treatment for residents and for expats is not something we will summarise into a fake rate. Zakat and corporate rules are a different regime. A licensed KSA tax adviser should see the USD P&L. Do not copy a U.S. 1099 story onto a Saudi return.
