Is Kalshi available in Greece?
Yes. Residents of Greece can apply. Settlement is EUR converted into USD; DIAS / IRIS payments is not a Kalshi checkout.
HCMC supervises Greek investment firms. The Hellenic Gaming Commission licenses gambling. Kalshi holds neither local licence.

Opening from Greece
A Greek tautotita or passport plus an AFM-linked address typically passes KYC. IRIS identity is not imported. No account is opened at the ATHEX CSD, and no AADE certificate is issued by the exchange.
What Greece pays with at home
IRIS and DIAS euro payments do not credit Kalshi. Buy dollars at Alpha, NBG, Eurobank, or Piraeus, then send a method the deposit screen lists. An IRIS request from a private mobile branded as the exchange is fraud — Kalshi does not publish a Greek mobile beneficiary.
From EUR in Greece to USD
Greek high-street dollar wires carry ticket fees on top of the EUR/USD commercial spread. Shop the outgoing payment, not just the mid on a phone widget. Euros never settle Kalshi and an “IRIS προς Kalshi” request is someone stealing.
Hours in Greece (Europe/Athens (EET/EEST))
Athens is EET/EEST, same civil offset as Bucharest and Helsinki but not the same public holidays. A mid-afternoon Eastern print is 21:00 or 22:00 on Syntagma. Island time in the Cyclades does not change the American clock.
