Afghanistan is blocked on sanctions grounds
US sanctions rules sit on top of the Member Agreement. Kalshi cannot legally take the customer. There is no supported funding rail and no «special corridor».
Sanctions, not a product gap
This is not «wait for PromptPay-style rails to be added». The exchange is forbidden to onboard the jurisdiction. We will not list which bank might still send a dollar. Do not attempt to fund an account from an Afghan address.
Hawala and local wallets are not a Kalshi SKU
Anyone collecting afghani or dollars «for a Kalshi account» is running a script. There is no account to attach them to.
No exception for an exit node
A VPN does not create eligibility. We publish no steps. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc. and cannot unfreeze a sanctions hold.
