Canada is restricted on Kalshi
The Member Agreement treats a Canadian residential address as closed. Interac e-Transfer will not save the application — identity fails first. Kalshi is not a CIRO dealer and not a provincially licensed gaming site.
Securities registration in Canada is provincial (OSC, AMF Québec, BCSC and peers). Gaming is provincial too. Kalshi is not a registered Canadian dealer or a licensed gaming operator.
Official site- Interac e-Transfer
- Canadian debit (Interac Flash)
- bill payment
Provincial registers, not a missing checkbox
Ontario, Québec, British Columbia and the other provinces run their own securities and gaming files. None of those files is «add a US DCM and call it a Canadian account». A Toronto or Vancouver address stops at Kalshi KYC. A Montréal address is the same closed door in French.
Interac is a Canadian rail, not a Kalshi rail
e-Transfer and Interac debit move loonies between Canadian institutions. They do not appear on a deposit screen you cannot open. Anyone asking you to Interac a private email «for Kalshi margin» is stealing.
ET in Toronto is not eligibility
Southern Ontario shares Eastern Time with New York, so the event clock would have felt familiar. That is not a reason the address is accepted. Confirm any future list change on kalshi.com, not on a forum thread about VPNs.
No tunnel through a US exit node
We will not walk a Canadian passport through a fake Florida lease. Frozen accounts are the usual ending. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc. and does not run support.
Identity checks still run on kalshi.com. If that signup or deposit screen disagrees with this note, trust Kalshi. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.
