Kalshi does not onboard the United Kingdom
A residential address in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland typically cannot finish Kalshi identity checks. The exchange is a US DCM. It is not an FCA-authorised firm and not a UK Gambling Commission bookmaker.
The FCA authorises UK investment firms. The Gambling Commission licenses betting. Kalshi appears on neither register as a UK operator.

FCA and the Commission are not the door
UK financial and gambling licences are a different stack from a CFTC designated contract market. Passing neither is why a London postcode fails — not because this website forgot a form. The Member Agreement is the text that matters. We do not restate it as a loophole.
Faster Payments will not be asked for
Sort codes and Faster Payments move sterling inside the UK. Kalshi never collects them for a blocked address. A stranger’s request to «Faster Pay Kalshi support» is a scam pattern. There is no sterling wallet to fill.
Clock and book you will not trade from this address
London sits five hours ahead of Eastern Time in winter and four in summer. That offset is trivia until the address is open. Sportsbooks and other event venues that actually accept a UK passport are a separate decision — we will not name a substitute as if it were a Kalshi twin.
A US IP from Zone 2 is a freeze, not an account
Spoofing geo to finish KYC violates the terms. Balances get stuck. If you later move to an open country, update a real address; do not invent one on day one. Lists move — trust kalshi.com over this snapshot. StartKalshi is not Kalshi Inc.
